Supporting talented young people has been a consistent focus for the Rapla Rotary Club over the years. A key element of this effort has been the awarding of a humanities scholarship, a practice that has been in place since 1994.

For several years now, the Rapla Rotary Club has organized an environmental conference aimed primarily at young people. A key resource for the conference is the participation of both Rotarians themselves and various experts from diverse fields. The conference has received support from Europe Direct.

For several years now, the Rapla Rotary Club has presented an award for environmental ideas, recognizing the participation of Rapla County youth in improving the state of the environment. Previous competitions have attracted a variety of projects and ideas. The target group consists of young people aged 15–18, from whom we welcome critical or constructive thoughts on improving the environment. The prize fund is 500 euros.

While there has certainly been much discussion about men’s health in recent years, there have been fewer active initiatives and inclusive projects. The Rapla Rotary Club has made it a priority to spearhead a men’s health project aimed at introducing men of all ages to various aspects of a healthy, long-lasting lifestyle. Through this project during 2025/2026, we hope to encourage men in Rapla County to reflect on their well-being and take action to improve their health and increase the number of years they live in good health.
