We promote men's health

A healthy mind in a healthy body
For the years 2025 and 2026, the Rapla Rotary Club has taken the lead on a project focused on men’s health, aiming to introduce men of various ages to different areas related to and influencing a healthy, long life: active living and exercise, men’s health and cancer risks, mental health, sexual health and relationships, healthy nutrition, heart health, and memory and learning.
The target audience consisted primarily of men aged 35–80 living and active in Rapla County; we had at least 100 interested participants attending the various gatherings and events. It comprises public gatherings, meetings, and active physical activities.
Meetings took place on the last Wednesday of every month, starting at 18:00, in the cinema hall of the Rapla Cultural Centre.
Participants did hear presentations on health topics delivered by leading Estonian experts from universities, major health institutions, and various specialized fields. The first Nordic walking session was held on the Vesiroosi School health trail.
Duration: 1–1.5 hours per session.
The entire program is free for participants!
While there has certainly been much discussion about men’s health in recent years, there have been fewer active initiatives and inclusive projects. With this project, we aim to encourage men in Rapla County to reflect and take action for the sake of better health and more years of healthy living.
